(cute)
I need you all to raise your hand if at one point you had an email account on Yahoo! At one point I had three of them. I started getting invites to join Gmail, and I made the switch, just in time I might add. I just looked at my old account and there were over 3,000 spam messages and 300 or so in the Inbox. I don't know enough people to have that many, so I went through an sure enough, 292 of those were spam. Three of the remaining eight good ones were from my father. So cute. He was announcing he switched to a new Internet service and therefore getting a new email address. The second, about two minutes later was him again letting me know he and my mom had switched. The third about a minute later was the same message. I wondered why this was, then I realized the last two were subject titled AUTO RESPONSE. I have the auto response set up, so when long time friends email me, they get the response to email me on my Gmail account. Some follow through, some fall for it and think I'm online at that moment. You have to chuckle some, but not at my dad, just at the situation.
