It's 12:17 MDT and I just rolled out, sort of. Amy tried waking me up before heading to work and I wouldn't budge because of my headache. She tried telling me about a situation at Boulder High School, because of there might be some kung fu students in there, but that didn't even get a rise out of me. Around 09:30 MDT, I made it to the couch and plopped down in front of Food Network and dozed on and off. If you have been following my headache saga, you know I have a prescription for some pretty nifty muscle relaxers, and I have to have to caffine-ate myself in a timely manner. I think the caffine is all it is, but it's annoying to say the least.
Last night though, I had a great time at midweek. We started with a game called paper-airplane blitz. First we had a limited amount of time to fold our sheets of paper, then we split the room in half and each half had to toss all their airplanes to the other half. When time was up, the team with the least amount of airplanes landed on their side won. My side won, but we had some veteran game players know how to win and ensured us a victory.
We sang some great songs to get us and God encouraged we were meeting as a body and we recapped the past few weeks of leader's meetings. Afterwards, something I have been missing was the fellowship. I talked with Wes, catching up about things in our lives, then our wives joined in and we kept the conversations going. Then we moved on to talking to Dan, Kelly, Mike and Chip just about stuff. Then Amy's tiredness kicked and we tried to leave, but we ran into Suzanne and talked to her for awhile, too. I love fellowship, and I know we are on the right track for rebuilding our part of the wall in the north and west part of Denver.
