Okay, I'm sorry I have not posted anything last week or this week since we've returned from our cruise. It was awesome, by the way. Anyway, we're snowed in. Denver/Colorado is in blizzard mode. I know it seems weird to say this, but this is not a usual thing. My mother and sister are here for the week. This is the big Christmas visit we've started a few years ago. They arrived on Saturday night and have been here visiting and getting into all sorts of trouble. It's cool to watch them now, because they have been here enough times to know how to get places and such. They've visited with Roel, Shifu, Joe and Jolyn, during their time here. Amy has been a trooper in entertaining them in our shoe box sized apartment.
The snow has kept us inside, for the most part. We did venture to the store, because we were low on some food. Safeway was jammed packed in there. The roads we BAD! I know I've said in the past, we have clear roads after is snows, but when it's this bad, there is no getting out of here right now. I was scheduled for work tonight, but Jim our owner called it a day at 11:30 a.m. Snow isn't that bad out there, but it is windy out there and it is drifting up to no avail.
I just launched a new feature to my blog, DynaWeather. com updates. It's just for where I live,but you can see what the weather is doing here. I warn you, it's free, so it may not work well. I'll try to have something more inspiring than this.
