(us it feel the clean)

This is French Lavender. As a result of My Wife being out of town I'll have to rehash some pictures for you until she returns with the camera. Believe it or not a year ago today, I was in France and it was our final day of cooking at the Chateau de la Suze la Rousse. Afterward, we headed to a few of the properties of Chef Jean-Michel, one being his home complete with catering kitchen, then passed by his restaurant, they weren't open for us to come dine at, and the to the hotel he owns or is part owner of. Being in Provence, by the default you have to have lavender, out side of every cabin/cottage there is at least five large lavender plants. Personally, I love lavender. My Wife is aware of this and has planted a few lavender plants in our yard in hopes for us to enjoy the perfume like odor it has. I'm looking forward to harvesting a few sprigs from time to time to cook with.
