(think three steps ahead)


What do cooks do on their days off? Cook! I was once posed with the challenge to make something with fresh apricots, so this is what I have Red Wine Poached Apricot Dessert! The ingredients are: red wine, sugar, bay leaves, peppercorns, cinnamon stick, whole cloves, salt, and apricots. These little guys are tough to peal, but after pealing them and reducing the poaching liquid, I poured the liquid over the apricots and I'm just letting them sit there until I'm ready to enjoy these lovely morsels.
