If you're wondering why I'm featuring a coffee filter as one of my toys, because when I make ice cream or kind of tempered egg recipe I like to pass it through this to avoid getting any cooked egg in the final product it self. I also like using when I make stocks to get more of the smaller particles out of the stock that would normally pass through my mesh sieve.
