All By Myself...

Last night and tonight is the third time Amy and I have been apart since we have been married. She went to Oklahoma, because Amy was missing her family. I went to SUDS U for work and now Amy is Boise for a wedding. Not just any wedding, Sandra's wedding. Sandra was Amy's maid of honor, so as the deal went with the four of them (Jen, Sandra, Suzy and Amy) Jen and Suzy would be each other's maid/matron of honor and the same thing for Amy and Sandra.

Anyway, it was a pretty traumatic experience for Amy on Thursday. She left the house at some awfully early hour, and parked at the RTD Park and Ride. She hopped on the SkyRide, when she finally got to the terminal, she was inside the forty-five minute window to check in. That's when Amy called me crying about missing the flight and having to sit in Salt Lake City for a few hours, because that's the only time available. I said, its not a big deal, we had a groomsman miss his flight in getting to our wedding.

The only problem with getting in that late was she would miss the rehearsal. Well, God is always in control, and needed Amy to have a really good quiet time, so he made her late, gave her a long layover and to make more miraculous, the man she sat next to in first class (that's all Delta had) explained to her they could get around this situation and get her there soon. They headed to the "first class club" Amy talked to some one, and next thing you know, she was on a flight at 13:00 or so, and would still make for the rehearsal. Today is the wedding and I don't know if Amy has her stuff or not, but God provides and teach us lessons for our heart.

Today, you know about the groomsman who was late, I'm having lunch with him today. I am so grateful for friendships in the Kingdom (new or old), because Frank has been there for me since I came out of the water. We lived together for the better part of a year, and I drove with him out to California, where he has lived since '02. He's such a steadfast man of God, because of his Catholic background and call him Fatha-Frank. Frank has been in my life since Jim moved out here, they were in same engineering classes. I miss him and I know why God has kept him in my life, because those relationships keep one faithful.

I'm leaving you with that, may I advise you one thing, stay away from pyramid schemes, they will consume and brainwash you. That's all I have to say about that.
