I came home to this welcomed sight. My Wife, who says she can not cook, actually can and do it well. We tend to play a little game, she goes food shopping and I have to put together a few meals with what I see in the fridge. Fortunate for us we keep proteins well stocked, so it's all about the veggies. She's planning on making roasted beet and fennel soup, but she's also headed out of town, so I guess I'll have to find something to do with these wonderfully roasted veggies while she's gone. I think it's going to be roasted beet and fennel soup.
