(official order form)

Sorry, it has taken me two weeks to put all the storyboards together.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12
I was sitting in the teen break out class today when I came to a realization. Something in the order of what my baptism into Christ really means. I started putting together some story boards about what it really means to become a Disciple.

First Board:

Background, busy downtown sidewalk. Here you have a man in a somewhat disheveled outfit, walking around looking up and talking to himself. Every sentence you hear starts with "why" and then the sentence goes muffled.

Second Board:

You get zoomed across to another part of downtown on another busy sidewalk. Another man, sharp looking suit, walking confidently, talking on the cellphone, every other word he speaks is either, "bro, awesome, or amen."

Third Board:

The two men turn a corner and bump into each other. Both men apologize to one another, the man in the suit walks away and mutters something, still holding on to his phone. The other, pauses, turns and sprints with determination up to the man in the suit.

Fourth Board:

They both face one another and you can see the look of the loss of patience in the man in the suit. The disheveled man looks at him and again apologizes and hand him a piece of paper. The suit man looks at it and storms off.

Fifth Board:

Setting the sanctuary of a church and you see both men on opposite sides of the congregation. Both men get up and start towards the doors. The disheveled man notices the suit man with a beautiful woman who seems to be talking to the other women. Suit man stands off and makes attempts not to look at anyone.

Sixth Board:

Disheveled man goes and talks to suit man again. This time looking excited that suit man is there and recognizes the women he is with. The women appears to know other members in the congregation along with disheveled man. Suit man storms out.

Seventh Board:

Time passes, suit man is in his office and on the phone. In a split screen, you see the woman on the other side. The conversation:
"Just try coming back," says the woman
"Not if that guy who almost rob me is there."
"He'll be there, but he has apologized to you every time he sees you."
"I'll go, but as soon as the lecture is done, I'm outta there."

Eighth Board:

Suit man and disheveled man meet in the parking lot. Conversation:
"I'm so sorry for what happened last month downtown, I don't know how it all happened and it has pained my heart everyday since. I'm just glad you came back tonight."
"I'm just here because she wants me to be here."
"I think you'll see why we all love coming here eventually."

Ninth board:

Smoked lens, you see flashbacks of suit man's childhood, teenage and young adult life. Scenes involve, petty theft, fisticuffs, alcohol, partially clothed men and women, drug abuse, shouting matches, etc.

Tenth board:

Suit man, is sitting in a coffee shop, on his cellphone with laptop open. He appears to be getting upset about what he's hearing on his phone. Zoom into the screen and you see an email opened and in large bold letters you see the words, "NOT UNTIL YOU CHANGE!" In comes beautiful woman, and suit man quickly closes his laptop and hangs up the phone. The woman looks upset, and asks suit man, "what is wrong, is it because..."

Eleventh Board:
Church the scene, a young woman surrounded by other women standing on stage. Suit man is in the back standing up and looks angry about being there. Disheveled man starts talking to suit man and suit man looks relieved about what is being said. The both head out of the sanctuary.

Twelfth Board:

Both men at a bar and converse, laugh and giggle. They appear to have a good time.

Thirteenth Board:

Both men in a living room along with an other man in athletic shorts and tee shirt. Every one has a bible in front of them and look to have a great conversation. The scene fades in and out with different angles of the conversation, every other scene they appear in different outfits and backgrounds. You also see images of the beautiful woman fading in and out along with another, who appears to be getting more and more upset.

Fourteenth Board:

The three men are in a stream, there are other gathered at the shore. There is some talking and the suit man is baptized.

Fifteenth Board:

Bubbles and water are in view, the sound is muffled as it would be when you are underwater. You hear faint sounds of explosions, cracks, and chinks. The water is washing away and you see a trail of smoke headed up to the sky. Still in Point of View, you see the people who were gathered on the shore are now in military uniforms and calling you to the side. You turn and see demons coming from the other side. The other two men in the water are also in military uniforms as you find yourself in them as well.

Sixteenth Board:

As well put together man in is uniform, you recognize him as Suit man. He's talking to disheveled man and athletic outfit man. The scene is familiar, the church sanctuary, but on the walls are now swords, shields, breastplates, helmets, etc. The scene pans out and now the congregation is dressed in military uniforms. The uniforms differ in designs based on the various factors. Younger members are in all green, older members are wearing the tan and brown, some appear in woodland others in the high-tech digitized uniforms.

Seventeenth Board:

Suit man is in a room with a sword in his hand and an other man is teaching him the finer points of using his sword. As the lecture goes on, you scene slowly transforms to a coffee shop, the men start to appear in street clothes, the sword turns in to a Bible, people morph into the scene. The two men appear to be so deep in conversation the miss the Demons coming their way in the window.

Eighteenth Board:

SMASH! Goes the window and the men jump up from their table and their clothes turn into battle armor. And they engage in a fight with the demons. As the battle goes on, there is morphing of the demons into flash backs of suit man in his "sinful" days. As the battle lingers, suit man often cries out, "I don't know if I can keep this up!" The other man tells him, "Keep it up, I know you can."

Nineteen board:

Busy downtown street, Suit man is walk on the cellphone, every other word he speaks is either, "bro, awesome, or amen." He puts his shades on and you're in his point of view and you see demons walking on the busy downtown sidewalk. Suit man lifts his shades and you see his face of surprise and smiles

Twentieth Board:

Paning out from the smile, and you see he has a Bible in his hand. Continue to pan and suit man charges with his bible held out in front and sprints down the street. The demons morph in to the people walking on the street and start to flee from suit man. Continue to pan to city, region, continent, and then Earth. Fade to black
