(starting over)

Two weeks ago, Doug gave us the challenge to start the new year with going back and studying out things that helped us come to know Christ. So I heard the call, and I've been going through character studies as my quiet time this year. I've studied about honesty, respect, living godly, righteousness, and purity so far. It's been exciting for me to see, those simple little things that can block me from tapping into God for so many things. This week, I've been so remind of what exactly got me to come to God in the first place, The Flatirons.

Every morning, I have to be at class by 8:30 a.m. I have been trying to get there earlier so I can get more time in the classroom and also to see the sun shine on the Flatirons as it rises. It is amazing. This week, so far, there has been snow up there, so the sun brushes them with this awesome glowing read hue that just makes me grateful for God. I find it funny how I have a hard time not seeing the mountains. I guess you can say that I shouldn't think about getting a job away from the Front Range anytime soon.

This week, the plan is to see how I can survive working and going to school. Right now, I'm at four shifts and five days of classes. I need to get his down to three shifts, as soon as possible, but it's up to getting some more staff members who can get things done in quality, quantity and speed. Be praying for me to get to that point where I can balance God, marriage and school.
