Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds!
So great is your power
that your enemies cringe before you.
All the earth bows down to you;
they sing praise to you,
they sing praise to your name."
Psalm 66:3-4
I ran across this the other day, and I thought I had shared about it already. Anyway, the way I look at, I see it as a way to pray to God when you are giving him praise. I know, what are you going off about now, Rama? I mean this:
Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds!
My conversion and salvation
My family and now my new family in my wife
Getting me here to Colorado (right now, I miss seeing the mountains because of my job)
So great is your power
When I look back at my dating realtionship with Amy, I would never had been able to see her if I didn't pray about it often
Have you seen the mountains of Colorado?
He's now kept me protected from what I could have been if I never found Him
that your enemies cringe before you.
When the church went through it's changes, we were fortunate to ward off the Devil's attacks
Think of it this way, if you're not a friend of God, then you are his enemy, and I was
I have never been able to face adversity with out God on my side
All the earth bows down to you;
Everyone yeilds to a higher power, wen they can not explain, it's God
I can't help but think about Missionaries and the work they have done
I know when I have no way else to explain it, I give it to God
they sing praise to you,
Gratitude is amazing you can not help but want to sing
When your day goes well, every song you hear lifts your spirits
I have found myself, in embarassing moments singing
they sing praise to your name."
