Last night was our first night with the teen bible talk. Mike did the lesson, about faith. He was piggy backing on Gordon Ferguson's lesson from Sunday about faith. At first he had us read Hebrews 11:1 and then read The Spyglass, which could be viewed as a children's book, but it has an important message about faith in it. He followed up the book with Numbers 13:26-14:11, and helped us see that twelve went to the promise land, and two different assessments of what the promise land looked like. Anyway, I love those two stories, especially Caleb's account, because he held to God's promise and came back seeing the land of milk and honey with all the confidence that God would deliver them to the promise land.
That's about it, work was a bit stress full with my regional manager and our vice president of operations in our building all day, but in the end they both had some good things to say with what is going on in our building. We have three different promotions going on starting on Sunday with the NFL getting back in full swing (I'm not a fan), Oktoberfest and it's festivities on Wednesday and starting Friday with a limited time menu. WOW, we have some things to get done until then. Have a great day otherwise!
